SOLUTIONS
In large metallurgical enterprises, the main instruments on site include thermocouples, thermistors, bimetallic thermometers, pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, pressure switches, mass flow meters, vortex flow meters, rotor flow meters, electromagnetic flow meters, magnetic flap level gauges, radar level gauges, etc.
In the metallurgical industry, electromagnetic flow meters are commonly used for flow control of cooling water in continuous steel casting, continuous steel rolling, and steelmaking electric furnaces. The monitoring of cooling water leakage in blast furnace tuyere protection is to compare the flow rates at the inlet and outlet of the tuyere. If there is a difference, an alarm will be triggered, and accurate and reliable measurement is required. Electromagnetic flow meters are commonly used to measure the flow rate of mineral slurry in the copper smelting and wet zinc smelting processes in the non-ferrous metal industry.
The flow measurement results in the metallurgical industry are mostly used for process monitoring and control, with low requirements but high requirements for stability and reliability.
The common applications are as follows:
Measure the cooling water of all equipment during the production process
Acid flow rate of coking and sintering plants
Measurement of cooling water flow rate for steel during hot rolling process
Water consumption for cleaning cold-rolled steel plates
The flow rate of the cleaning solution (acid and alkali) for cold rolled steel plates
Measure the flow rate of the medication during the surface treatment process
Public sector measurement of water supply and wastewater discharge flow control and total quantity control
